ANet kinda condemns farming a lot, thinking it takes advantage of other ppl in the game. However, I find GW is all about teamwork and just being the stuff you have. Those who got obsidian armor may probably don't have a life and spend over 1000+ hours on getting it. Not all farming is about making money. Heck, I farm luxon faction points in alliance battle and it is not considered to be money making (unless if you are going with the jade).

Face it, the game doesn't even have an economy, anyone who wants can log in and start printing money by leaving town. Farming is an invented behavior, and a player attempt to force economic standards by finding a way to get ridiculous amounts of very rare things and sell them high. Look at the keys being sold, a bunch of players manufactured a high price early on... those keys aren't worth more than the 500g-1k range for what you're likely to get... crappy sweets and booze, merch fodder golds. So what does it matter when Anet does something to undermine people who are basically just being greedy? It doesn't. If you had fun doing it, good for you but you can't expect it to be supported, this game isn't even close to having a economic metagame beyond highly artificial standards players make up.

i agree with you, and we all play the game for different reasons, and i respect that, but as it seem that the majority here isn't open mind enough to see the other end, and flaming forum post as usual.

That's cause people here don't really understand much. They're like the government in America.

But, the price drop won't affect much. The less you're able to make money, the less you'll want to play the game, the more you'll go on to a better game. In the end, you will win because you will be playing that better game. So don't worry too much, this game has been spanked, cranked, choked and smothered to death and is pretty much -100% from what it used to be.

Also people with FoW armor have lives, I don't know what the hell is the matter with people that they think they need to dictate how other people should live. If someone likes sitting inside all the time then more power to them. Who cares.

yep yep, its the lack of knowledge that you get posts like those from Fril Estelin, with his 1-2 line smart-alex comments. And the typical stero-type of "oh you wear FoW, you got no life" its halarious, and they should really stop and think who funded the gold for those who got FoW

So, what does this all means? for one, people who invested in high end wep will now lose half if not more than half of what they've paid for it, that also mean lost of hours spended on farming the golds to invest in that wep. farming has become once again useless because everything will become dirt price. Overall, GW farmer and the likes, will be experiencing once again another market crash.

I enjoy the game and all it has to offer, but most joy of the game comes from farming for myself at the least, and this is just too upsetting. I am officially putting a stand and will stop supporting Anet products.

And btw, why would you nerf pve skill such as seed of life and ursan strike??? its unfair to the ai monster? eh, good game!

I may be sorry one of these days to say it, but one or two characters being able to clear an area, even not get raped in seconds, seems imbalanced. You bring certain skills against skills that don't change, monster's, and manage to win. You take advantage of the AI. The whole thing seems imbalanced, and all people care about is "exploiting" the game to get shiny things.

By the way, you seem like the WORST people of PvE. The ones that believe they deserve +100 armor and invincibility. The ones that think anything is alright with totally dominating the game and even manage to complain after the skills were killed.

I may possibly be misinformed, but so would you.

I stand against 'Upset Farmer'. This game is, hopefully, not supposed to be about sitting around grinding the same shit over and over for something of little to no actual value. To those who spent time and money earning valuable things, I say this:

+Tough s--t. You should have realized that Anet always makes things easier for the casual player to obtain, and for the better. It's probably not a good thing that you're spending so much time doing so little.
